Dwaine is a worship leader, songwriter, and passionate advocate for discipleship, dedicated to seeing a generation of young believers fully encounter Jesus. Born in Harrow, England in 1987 as the second of six children, Dwaine’s early years were shaped by a single mother who sowed seeds of faith in their lives, encouraging him and his siblings to attend a small Baptist church in Harrow and Wealdstone. Though Dwaine’s love for singing blossomed early, it took time for him to rediscover his musical calling.
His journey of faith took a pivotal turn when he encountered his first love for worship music at Sudbury Hill Community Church. This newfound passion ignited a deep desire to lead others in worship and connect them to the heart of God. By 2016, Dwaine was serving as the lead worshipper at Kensington Temple, where he not only led powerful worship but also co-wrote songs for the church’s album Let Joy Arise. That same year, while studying at the International Bible Institute of London (IBIOL), he released his debut EP, Love Like You, which resonated deeply with audiences.
In 2018, Dwaine transitioned to Catch The Fire London, where he continued to pour into his calling as a worship leader. Two years later, he released his hit single “Jesus Only You” and took on the role of Associate Worship Pastor. In 2021, Dwaine stepped into the position of Worship Pastor, further solidifying his leadership and influence in the worship community. His single The More I Seek You followed soon after, reflecting his deep heart for intimacy with God. In 2023, he released his first live recording, Great Are You Lord, marking a significant milestone in his musical journey.
Dwaine’s musical expression continued to evolve in 2024, when he released One True Living God, featuring the incredible Rachel George. At this time, he also joined Capstone Church as their Worship Coordinator, where he continues to lead and serve with a passion for cultivating a lifestyle of worship that is lived out in everyday life.
Outside of worship and music, Dwaine has a heart for raising up the next generation of leaders. He is deeply committed to the restoration of the tabernacle of David, a vision of passionate worship and devotion to God. He longs to see devoted sons and daughters discipled by loving spiritual mothers and fathers, and a generation that not only sings the songs of worship but lives them—sacrificing, surrendering, and following Jesus with authenticity and zeal.
Dwaine is also the founder of ReverenceUK, a Christian fashion brand that reflects his heart for faith, creativity, and cultural influence.
Dwaine’s personal life is equally beautiful, as he is a devoted husband to his incredible wife, Liya, and a proud father to their three children, Jacob, Bella, and Israel. Their family, beautifully woven together by redemption, is a testament to the power of God’s grace and the joy of building a life centered around Christ.
Dwaine’s ultimate desire is to see lives transformed by the truth of Scripture, to see the lost found, and to release the heart of the Father to those hungry for His love. With a deep passion for the lost and a heart for worship, Dwaine continues to lead others into a deeper relationship with Jesus, creating spaces where worship is more than just music—it’s a lifestyle.
